Salary scale equivalent to NJC point 29 (£24,646), pro rata
Carers Northumberland (Registered Charity number 1122972) are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to maintain and develop the organisation’s Information Service. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a database and information resources, including project monitoring activity, and for providing direct carer support over the telephone via the Information Line and in person at information events. Applicants should be educated to NVQ III or equivalent, experienced in the use of IT, highly organised, able to work on their own initiative and have excellent communication and listening skills. Some knowledge and understanding of carer issues are required. The post may involve some out of hours work and travel countywide on occasion.
Please come along to help out with a bulb planting day in Paddock Wood - we want to create a beautiful, colourful avenue of flowers for springtime and we need your help — pop along to plant a few bulbs.

Skills 4u are a training provider based in Cramlington Northumberland. They deliver formal and informal education programmes for students on Alternative Curriculum, learners with learning disabilities or difficulties, young people 16 to 19 seeking to gain qualifications or employment and adults who are estranged from the labour market.
What happens if illness, injury or just the fact that we all get older eventually, starts to get in the way of how we can look after our four legged companions? What if we can’t walk them anymore? What if their health and wellbeing becomes compromised because we just can’t do as much as we used to be able to?
