Choysez an innovative and highly successful organisation based in Bedlington is looking to fill two vacancies.

Working with near excluded and excluded young people from Northumberland we are looking for someone able to plan and deliver hands on session work with young people to help them achieve their goals. This is a senior leader role within Choysez and you must have a minimum of two years experience in delivering sessions to small groups of young people both in a classroom and out on activities.

An experienced practitioner with hard to reach young people aged between 10-16 you will plan and deliver sessions 5 days a week to help them achieve to the best of their potential, ensuring they enjoy activities, achieve awards and raise their aspirations.

In this senior role you will also guide and direct support workers to help you achieve these aims, you must be able to show you can plan your own sessions and those of others. Comfortable in a variety of settings, you will contribute to the ECM agenda and must be able to motivate and support young people. You will be familiar in helping them gain accreditations and will help them work towards nationally recognised awards. Computer literate you will be comfortable in delivering sessions to young people helping them achieve the targets on their individual learning plans.

For the right candidate this will be a most rewarding position. It will often be far from easy but you will enjoy the variety and challenges of face-to-face work and operating as a leader in this innovative project working with young people.
