Lead the Field, training programme created by Mark Butcher Associates for the voluntary and statutory sectors, returns in May.

Lead the Field 2010 starts with a Strategic and Business Planning course on the 4th of May. This renowned management development programme consists of a range of courses that aim to provide cutting edge skills, methods and processes to help nonprofit organisations excel in their work. Participants will learn how to organise their teams, plan their projects, negotiate, fundraise and structure marketing campaigns for their organisation.

There are grants available for people operating in a strategic role (members of the management team, project managers, team leaders etc) which, depending on the circumstances, can cover the whole cost of the training.
