Positive About Volunteering Conference - 2nd March 2010
Volunteering Northumberland will be holding its second annual conference on Tuesday March 2nd at the Holiday Inn at Seaton Burn. Registered organisations will be receiving full booking instructions shortly. If you are not registered and would like to find out more about how you can attend, please contact us.
Following the success of last years’ conference, we will again be looking at issues relating to successful volunteer management. Workshops include disability awareness, Olympic-inspired volunteering, How To Lose a Volunteer in 10 Days (a humorous look at the common mistakes made by organisations), amongst others. We are also fortunate to welcome the man who literally wrote the book on Volunteers and The Law, Mark Restall (which organisations in attendance last year received), as a guest speaker.
